With support from the Department of Education, GaiaXus has spent the last few years developing affordable, accurate, and versatile equipment for water quality monitoring in collaboration with teachers and citizen scientists.
The Water Guardians have now touched ecosystems all over the United States, and abroad in Kenya and the Netherlands, leaving us wondering: how can we, from our lab in Germantown, best adapt our system for your corner of the world?
Here's where Labs come in. Viewable on Android phones, tablets, and Chromebooks, Labs pair data collection with step-by-step, multimedia content, so that you can tailor your experience to your community, ecosystem, or use case. If you have calibrated your sensors with the GaiaXus mobile app, you have already experienced one of our labs. Now, you can build your own.
On our online portal is the Lab Builder, a tool to design customized experiences with the GaiaXus System. With the Lab Builder, you can write guides to sampling from your local creek or add quiz questions aligned with your curriculum’s learning goals, whether you are writing assignments for an elementary class or training a group of adult volunteers.
Contact us at info@gaiaxus.com for early access to the Lab Builder and other collaborative features we have coming up on the horizon.
